Hierarchy function for IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)

Hierarchy returns the name of the hierarchy if there is only one hierarchy at the dimension; otherwise, it returns an empty string.

In this video, Hierarchy will be used to retrieve the Employee Hierarchies dimension hierarchy name and apply it in the rule to populate the Employee Salaries cube.
