    ElementParentCount function for IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)

      ElementParentCount returns the number of parents of an element in the dimension.

      In the video, ElementParentCount will be used to retrieve the number of parents of an element of the Employee Hierarchies dimension and apply it in the rule to populate the Employee Salaries cube.

          What is the syntax for ElementParentCount?

          ElementParentCount(dimension, hierarchy, element)​​

          • Dimension =  Dimension name.​
          • Hierarchy = The name of the hierarchy.​
          • Element = The name of an element within the dimension.
