    ElementComponentCount function for IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)

      ElementComponentCount returns the number of consolidation components.

      In the video, ElementComponentCount will be used to determine the number of elements of the consolidation of the Employee Hierarchies dimension and apply it in the rule to populate the Employee Salaries cube.

          What is the syntax for ElementComponentCount?

          ElementComponentCount(dimension, hierarchy, element)

          • Dimension = A dimension name.​
          • Hierarchy = The name of the hierarchy.​
          • Element  = The name of a consolidated element.
