    ElCompN Rules function for IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)

      ElCompN returns the name of the child of a consolidated element.

      In the video, ElCompN will be used to determine the number of elements of the consolidation and apply it in the rule to populate the Product Scorecard cube. ​

          ElCompN(Dimension, Element)

          • Dimension = Name of the Dimension
          • Element = Name of the element or alias

          • ElComp = Returns the name of a child element from a consolidated element based on the position
          • ElCompN = Returns the number of components under an element
          • ElementComponent = Returns the name of the child of a consolidated element
          • ElementComponentCount = Returns the number of components of the consolidation
