    MAX function for IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)

      MAX returns the largest number between two numbers.

      In the video, MAX will be used to determine the largest number between two numbers and be applied to the rule to populate the MAX_Value measure in the Product Scorecard cube.

          What is the syntax for MAX?

          MAX(num1, num2)​

          • Num1 = The first number.​
          • Num2 = The second number.

          • ABS = Converts a number into an absolute value.
          • ASIN = Returns the angle, in radians, whose sine is x.
          • ATAN = Returns the angle, in radians, whose tangent is x.
          • COS = Returns the cosine of an angle expressed in radians.

          • INT = Returns the largest value that is less than or equal to a specified value.
          • ISUND = Returns 1 if the argument value is undefined.
