DType function for IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)

DType returns the element type in a dimension.

In the video, DType will be used on the Account dimension to return the element type for Net Income and Trade Sales.

Version 11 and 12

What is the syntax for DType?

DFrst(TM1ServerName:Dimension)

TM1ServerName = Name of the TM1 Server
Dimension = Name of the Dimension
