DNext function for IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)

DNext returns the first element in a dimension.

In the video, DNext will be used on the Account dimension to return the next element after Net Income %.

Which TM1 Server version is the DNext function available for?

Version 11 and 12

What is the syntax for DNext?

DNext(TM1ServerName:Dimension, element)

TM1ServerName = Name of the TM1 Server
Dimension = Name of the Dimension
Element = The name of an element in the Dimension
