DimNm function for IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) – Excel

DimNm returns an element’s member ID based on an index in a dimension.

In the video, DimNm will be used on the Account dimension to return the element’s name, based on an index.

Which TM1 Server version is the DimNm function available for?

Version 11 and 12

What is the syntax for DimNm?

DimNm(TM1ServerName:Dimension, index, Alias)

TM1ServerName = Name of the TM1 Server
Dimension = Name of the Dimension
Index = Index Number for Element required
Alias = If you want to show the Alias rather than the element (OPTIONAL)
